MOPATA provides statewide professional learning, collaboration, and advocacy to strengthen high-quality Parents as Teachers programs across Missouri.
When you join the Missouri Parents As Teachers Association (MOPATA), you have the opportunity to create change. The non-profit organization encourages all people who are interested in supporting strong families to join. Along with advocating for Missouri’s Youth, your membership will also open the door for the following opportunities:

Learning opportunities specifically for seasoned parent educators
Information on state and federal legislation that affects programs, families and children in Missouri

MOPATA is an organization for individuals interested in supporting the organization's work. Everyone interested in supporting strong families and children is encouraged to join. Parent educators, home visitors, early childhood educators, parents, grandparents, and current and past participants in Missouri are all welcome to join the Missouri Parents as Teachers Association!

MONDAY COLLABORATIVE CALLS for 2025 and 2026
Join us for our Monday Collaborative Call for the 2025-2026 school year at 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. The Missouri Parents as Teachers Association will continue to partner with DESE, PATNC, and other key partners so we can all work together to share how we plan to build and strengthen the parent educators and programs across Missouri.
