Let’s Grow Together
MOPATA is committed to the belief that all families deserve the highest quality parenting support so that their young children can grow up healthy, safe and ready to learn. As part of this commitment, MOPATA offers learning opportunities on critical issues that support those early care and education providers that work directly with families.

Advocate
Missouri Parents as Teachers Association (MOPATA) advocates for policies that support families with young children. We help national, state and local decision-makers understand the important role parent/caregiver education and family engagement play in a child's development.
Advocacy is an essential part of building viable, sustainable and successful Parents as Teachers programs and other home visitation programs that support family and child development. It also helps build strong communities that better support the families and children that we serve.
As a parent, parent educator or friend, you have probably tried to influence someone on behalf of another. Advocacy is that simple. It's about building relationships with local, state and national decision makers, educating decision makers about Parents as Teachers and other related early childhood and family support programs, and issues, connecting to your community being a positive voice for families with young children.
